Four juniors braved the chilly conditions on Wednesday to race in the first event of the Surf n Turf Series, held out at Pegasus (and there were no wetsuits to be seen either!).  The air temperature was around nine degrees, but fortunately the water temperature was warmer in than out.

The next event in the series is being held at Corsair Bay on Wednesday 15 December.  Full event details can be viewed here.

  1. Thanks for coming out to Pegasus Last night guys I hope you enjoyed the race, despite the weather! Those photographs make it seem like such a ‘warm’ night! Hopefully the weather will be kind to us next week!

Well done to the juniors!!! Awesome!!!

We’ve settled in well here in Germany and are enjoying the festive season. Glühwein (mulled wine) tastes so much better in -10°C ;-) lots of snow at the moment, super!

Sam has joined the VFL Waiblingen Triathlon Club and is really enjoying it. Run training on Wednesdays 6-7pm, in all weather… swim training on Saturdays 2.30pm for an hour. The pool is only open for club training on Saturdays, very cool!

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a very happy 2011!
    Have a great tri season!

    Sabine and Sam
